Sandra Richards is the founder and director of the SPACE. She was born, raised and schooled in England but much of Sandra's holistic education was gained in the Caribbean, America and Africa. Dr. Richards is a humble trailblazer who has become one of the busiest UK based Black female self-development professionals.

Sandra has created a centre for inspiration, empowerment, learning and general wellbeing where all activities are designed to stimulate the inherent healing power held within all of us.

The SPACE is designed to promote social interaction, raised achievement and self development professionals.

Sandra conducts personal and professional development sessions and workshops for both men and woman including:

· Meditation

· Coaching

· Counselling

· Education tutorials

· Rites of passage programs

Holistic Therapies available include psychosocial, talk, touch, meditation, learning growing and knowing.

S.P.A.C.E. is an acronym that has several meanings but fundamentally it is a safe place for healing, knowing and growing.  One of the most significant descriptions for S.P.A.C.E. is ‘Social Psychotherapy and Culture in Ealing’

Sanctuary of A Safe Place for African Caribbean Elevation

The intimate environment creates a homely centre for personal and professional empowerment.  It is a sanctuary for African Caribbean people who have been excluded in disproportionate figures and over represented in mental health misunderstanding and misdiagnosis.  The enchanting outside area also helps visitors inhale, exhale and achieve the needs they may have. Workshops and discussion groups have included, parenting and meditation sessions, rites of passage, men only discussion group and women only nights in, young people question and answer, study classes, massage therapy, introduction to world financial market, holistic drumming.  Also available is one to one counselling & executive and life coaching.

The practice, philosophy and strategic development of SPACE is supported by community based organisations and individuals including educators, counsellors, cultural artistes, Rites Elders  (PSHE), social services practitioners, healthcare specialist’s, the race equality council and other community stakeholders.
